Description
With this market consultation / prior information notice Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) surveys the market and requests information from suppliers concerning the procurement of Eddy Covariance systems. Requirements for the Eddy covariance (CO2, H2O) system planned to be purchased by the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke): The aim is to purchase one Eddy Covariance (EC) system at the end of 2024 or early 2025 for the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke). This measurement equipment will provide new research data for the development of climate-friendly land use practices (e.g. forestry, agriculture), which allows climate change mitigation and adaptation. Specifically, this equipment will be used at a former peat extraction location which will be transformed into a paludicultural plantation. The EC system must include the following set of instruments. 1. Infrared gas analyzer (IRGA) measuring CO2 and H2O concentration at 10 Hz frequency 2. A three-dimensional heated research sonic anemometer – wind velocity components at 10 Hz frequency 3. Air temperature and humidity 4.
