NOVA plans to send out the attached Request for Quotation (ELT-SPE-MCD-56305-0031-Request-For-Quotation-MICADO-Filtercoatings + tables, and drawings) in December 2023. This set of documents reflects the desires of the MICADO consortium well. However, we want to be sure that the specifications (contractual, technical) are realistic. Therefore, NOVA hereby consults potentially interested manufacturers. If you want to participate in this market consultation, you can answer the questions. NOVA is the alliance of the astronomical institutes of the universities of Amsterdam, Groningen, Leiden, and Nijmegen, legally represented by the Leiden University. Astronomy is considered to be top-science in The Netherlands. NOVA was selected as top-research school in 1998 following an open national competition, and is as such receiving substantial funding by the Dutch Ministry of Education. NOVA’s mission is to carry out frontline astronomical research in the Netherlands, to train young astronomers at the highest international levels, and to share our new discoveries with society.
