Description
Programme WTB The Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands (MODNL) has initiated the replacement and modernisation of its operational wheeled vehicles. Next to the programme DVOW, the programme WTB (which is a Dutch acronym for Wissellaadsystemen, Trekker-opleggercombinaties and WielBergingsvoertuigen) has commenced. This programme focuses around the replacement of Hooklift trucks including associated trailers, Heavy equipment transporters and Recovery trucks. On 16 September 2019 the Dutch Parliament has been informed about this programme by a formal letter. The programme has to be completed in 2027 and consists of three parts (1) the vehicles, (2) the trailer 15kN and (3) Physical Distribution Systems. This market consultation focuses on the third topic, pertaining to (a.o.) Logistical Flatracks, Containers and Accessories. A market consultation has already taken place in April 2021, but for various reasons, did not lead to an RFQ. Because market conditions have changed considerably in the intervening period, the Ministery of Defence considers it necessary to re-conduct the market consultation.
