Description
This publication concerns a Market Consultation for automated response to structured questions and unstructured natural language questions regarding admission of potential students to study at our university. Students have to meet certain criteria to be admitted. This results in questions and a large volume of e-mails, which often can be answered with templated answers. Such an automated response can be provided by a chatbot, but we encourage suppliers of alternative solutions to respond as well. At the WUR as Contracting Authority, the possibility to optimize our student admission-process has arisen. Therefor we are looking for information on the possibilities for an automated response to structured questions and/or unstructured natural language questions regarding admission. The purpose of the Market Consultation is to gather information from the market that can help us make choices on solutions to achieve our goals (mainly, reducing the volume of e-mail we receive and lowering waiting times for the questioner) and their feasibility.
