Description
Sunnfjord municipality intends to start renovation and new construction of Sande skule in 2025. It has been decided that Sande Skule shall be used as a pilot project for the reuse of building materials in connection with the extension of the collaboration project Circular Sunnfjord. On 1 January 2024, a change was made in regulations with sharpened requirements to emphasise climate and environmental inspections in public procurements that are being announced on Doffin. The main rule now is that climate and environmental inspections shall be weighted by a minimum of 30 percent. The environmental programme with a follow-up plan in the preliminary project for Sande school has been prepared, which describes the energy targets in the project. The following points have been taken as a starting point for reducing the climate and environmental impact in the project: • Ensure a long lifetime • Select materials with low climate impact • Stimulate transition to zero level at the construction site. • Make the use of buildings and infrastructure more efficient as all the buildings are built.
