Description

Troms and Finnmark County will announce the areas that will be awarded support to build broadband with grants from the award in 2023. NKOM has held a hearing in 2022, but there are more addresses than were included in the NKOM hearing that support is now being given. A public hearing shall be held of supported households and businesses that can receive broadband grants in 2023. The hearing will be held in accordance with the current government support regulations, KDD has decided that the 2023 scheme shall be registered under the current group exception regulation, called GBER. The latest and updated version is available here, https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/?uri=CELEX%3A02014R0651-20210801. Public broadband support is described in Article 52, and the requirements for the mapping and hearing are described in point 4.The hearing aims to:- Quality assure the mapping of existing coverage - uncover commercial credible planned establishment of high speed broadband network in Norway over the next three years.
