Description
As a research and development service, the contract is excluded from the scope of public procurement law (cf. § 116(1)(2) GWB). Makie is a flexible and modular high performance plotting library written in Julia. Through multiple backends, Makie provides users with anything from performant, interactive 3D visualization to publication quality vector graphics and dashboards on the web. Makie's modularity has led to a vibrant ecosystem, allowing Makie to be used in most areas, while spreading the maintenance work and complexity across the ecosystem. Makie is used internationally by scientists and researchers, with the 3 core maintainers based in Germany.
