Description
BRIC has chosen to accept the offer from Miltenyi Biotec] as, we believe that only the MACSIMA platform from Miltenyi Biotec is addressing our needs sufficiently. We need a multiplex staining platform with minimal tissue damage afflicted during each cycle and an efficient software to stitch the partial images, to subtract background lfuorescence, and to analyze the complete images. Only the MACSIMA platform showed that it can stain more than 400 markers without detectable loss of quality, which is unmatched by other products. Furthermore, the iQView software used for running the platform as well as for analyzing the images is both robust as well as powerful, and to our mind better than those of potential alternative products. Therefore we are not interested in acquiring any other multiplex immunofluorescent staining platform currently available on the market. The reason for the purchase is to allow us immediate access to this breakthrough technology.
