Description
Das Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien e.V. Jena beabsichtigt einen fasergekoppelten Femtosekundenlaser mit einer Repetitionsrate von einem Gigahertz anzuschaffen. Das System soll zur Realisierung computernaher Taktraten bei der nichtlinearen Frequenzgeneration in photonischen Chips eingesetzt werden. Der Laser wird dabei als Pumpquelle für die Superkontinuumserzeugung in dispersionsoptimierten Wellenleitern dienen. Hohe Repetitionsrate, Femtosekunden Pulsbreiten, Faserkopplung und rauscharmer Turn-key Betrieb sind dabei essentiell.
