Description
Voor het werk naar de structuren die belangrijk zijn voor signaaltransductie in gezondheid en ziekte, is een steeds grotere behoefte aan resolutie in tijd en ruimte. De beperkingen in optische eigenschappen zorgt ervoor dat voldoende resolutie behalen steeds moeilijker wordt. In levende preparaten wordt dit nog verder bemoeilijkt door het feit dat de hoeveelheid signaal beperkt is en niet versterkt kan worden zonder additionele ruis. Om toch naar de dynamiek van eiwitten en structuren te kijken in levende preparaten, is een systeem nodig dat een hoge resolutie haalt met de minimale hoeveelheid licht. Het systeem moet aan twee vereisten voldoen: een extreem laag ruis niveau zodat een enkel foton onderscheiden kan worden, en een hoge acquisitiesnelheid voor dynamiek. Euro 263.636,00 exclusief BTW
