Description
This document serves as a market consultation (Request for Information) for Lightning Detection Data, on behalf of the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management (IenW). IenW invites market participants to engage in this consultation. Participants are requested to respond to the queries presented in Annex 2: Questionnaire on Lightning Detection Data. KNMI seeks to procure and deploy advanced lightning detection data services to enhance its capabilities in weather forecasting and observational research. These services are crucial for delivering accurate lightning strike detection to various partners including governmental and safety organizations, such as aviation and harbor authorities. The estimated value of the assignment is € 400.000,- excluding VAT. This is based on a ten year agreement. No rights can be derived from this scope and duration.
