Description
Der Zweckverband Kläranlage Böblingen Sindelfingen betreibt eine Kläranlage mit einer Ausbaugröße von 250.00 EW. Die biologische Abwasserbehandlung besteht aus sieben Nitrifikationstropfkörpern und einer nachgeschalteten Denitrifikation. Da die Denitrifikation prozessbedingt nachgeschaltet und dadurch nicht ausreichend mit - für Mikroorganismen verfügbaren - Kohlenstoff versorgt ist, muss, um die gesetzlichen Vorgaben zur Stickstoffelimination einhalten zu können, eine externe Kohlenstoffquelle eingesetzt werden. Als externe Kohlenstoffquelle verwendet der Zweckverband Sindelfingen-Böblingen Methanol.
