Αντικείμενο της σύμβασης είναι η ανάθεση σε εξωτερικό συνεργάτη της υπηρεσίας οργάνωσης και λειτουργίας της δημοτικής συγκοινωνίας, με στόχο να δημιουργηθεί ένα αξιόπιστο δίκτυο τοπικής συγκοινωνίας, το οποίο θα εξυπηρετεί κατά τον καλύτερο δυνατό τρόπο τους κατοίκους του Δήμου στις μετακινήσεις τους, συμπληρώνοντας το υφιστάμενο δίκτυο των ΜΜΜ (ΟΣΥ, ΣΤΑΣΥ).
