Description

Gasunie has set up an LDAR programme for its assets, which aims to detect unintended methane emissions, repair them and thus reduce them. The contract with the current service provider is due to expire, and Gasunie wants the new contract to do justice to the new legislation that is currently being drawn up. Gasunie intends to enter into a new contract for all measurements of fugitive emissions and leakage losses through a Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) programme. Prior to the actual tender, Gasunie would like to test developments in the market. A dialogue document is available via e-mail j.draijer@gasunie.nl - +/- 575.000 potential leakage sources - Inspection programme based on the latest state of the new methane regulation: • 4-monthly measurement (above-ground sources) of 100% of the total population: Minimum detectable leakage limit of 1g/hr CH4. • 2-monthly screening above-ground sources with minimum detectable leakage limit of 17g/hr CH4. • 5-monthly screening underground sources with minimum detectable leakage limit of 5g/hr CH4. (e.g. underground valve schemes)
