Konsulteamets uppgift är att utreda dimensionering, typ av system, ägandeform och förvaltarskap men även investerings- och driftskostnad för nationella lager av utrustning för vattenförsörjning samt avledning/annat omhändertagande av avlopp, under höjd beredskap eller i en större händelse med katastrofala konsekvenser för dricksvattenförsörjning och avloppsvattenhantering.
