Hankinnan kohteena oli CSC – Tieteen tietotekniikan keskus Oy:n Espoossa sijaitsevan konesalin uudelleen sijoittamiseen liittyvät konesalipalvelut. Hankinnan tavoitteena oli saada CSC:lle colocation-tyyppinen, hyvin skaalautuva, korkean käytettävyyden konesalipalvelu Suomesta pääkaupunkiseudulta CSC:n nykyiselle ja tulevalle IT-palvelutuotannolle.
