Το έργο αφορά στη δημιουργία ενός σύγχρονου Κέντρου Ακτινοθεραπείας, το οποίο θα αποσυμφορήσει σημαντικά το ήδη επιβαρυμένο δίκτυο των δημόσιων νοσοκομείων (ΕΣΥ, Πανεπιστημιακά και Στρατιωτικά) που διαθέτουν Τμήματα Ακτινοθεραπείας. Το έργο θα καλύψει άμεσες ανάγκες υγείας ασθενών με καρκίνο, παρέχοντας υπηρεσίες υγείας καλύτερης ποιότητας και μειωμένο χρόνο αναμονής για την ακτινοθεραπεία.
