Description
The Danish Road Directorate is preparing an upcoming purchase of a system that can recognize road pavement damages and, with an associated AI solution, register pavement damage, their extent and location. The type of pavement damages of interest includes cracks, alligator cracking and potholes. For this purpose, the Danish Road Directorate wants to engage in a dialogue with relevant market players. The aim is to map possible solutions for recording road damages by using AI or machine learning. In connection with the market dialogue, the Danish Road Directorate will carry out a test of relevant equipment’s to clarify their repeatability and their reproducibility, in relation to a reference defined by the Danish Road Directorate. The market dialogue and the associated testing of equipment shall determine the quality and accuracy of equipment offered by suppliers in the market. The purpose of this is to qualify the Danish Road Directorate's further process for the procurement of such a system.
