Description
Tromsø municipality intends to enter into a temporary agreement with Anicura AS for the applicable veterinary duty scheme for small animals. The contract will cover 50% of the duty scheme. The contract will be signed without a competition and a voluntary notice of intent. Several conversations and meetings with the market have been held to map out possible competition. As the market appears today, there is a lack of competition in the current area. There is a lack of veterinary surgeons throughout Norway, also in Tromsø. This makes it very difficult for the local tenderers to provide the desired service. The signed contract will only cover 50% of the security guard scheme. It is therefore possible for several tenderers to join the temporary scheme if they so desire. The contract is temporary so that we can evaluate the situation at all times. If the market stabilises, a competition will be announced that will cover the entire duty scheme. The value of the contract is estimated to be just under NOK 1 million per annum. Any objections are requested as soon as possible and at the latest by 24.11.23
