Description
Haugesund municipality intends to enter into a contract with Glamox for the delivery of fixtures with radio, ZigBee and DALI control. This decision is based on a strategic choice to standardise the lighting systems in the municipality. The municipality already has a high number of Glamox fittings installed and the aim of this procurement is to establish a uniform and efficient system, at the same time as reducing the number of different types of lighting equipment. By standardising Glamox fittings with radio, ZigBee and DALI control, Haugesund municipality expects to achieve the following advantages: • Simplified operation and maintenance through uniform control systems.• Reduction in the number of different lighting components, which provide better store management and simplifies replacement.• Improved energy efficiency and flexibility through advanced control technology.• Option to combine wireless systems (radio and ZigBee control) with cabled systems (DALI control). Optimal utilisation of the existing infrastructure, where a large number of the municipality ́s buildings are already equipped with Glamox technology.
