Description
The electoral roll is very important for the implementation elections. The Norwegian Tax Administration has previously been responsible for making the electoral roll. The Election Directorate has been given the task of taking over this work in connection with the new election law. We must have a electoral roll system in place by the end of October 2024. It is expected that there will be a need for follow-up of the new system even after the development period has finished. We are now in a critical phase in the development process, and the most important person who works with development and clarification of the electoral roll is registered sick indefinitely. This is an unexpected situation for both the employee and the employer. We do not know when the person will be back at work, and whether they will be able to work full-time until the electoral roll are to be delivered. In the absence of our employees, it is decisive to have the support of a consultant who will soon be finished with an assignment in the Election Directorate.
