Description
Viken county shall be split to Akershus, Buskerud and Østfold counties, starting 01.01.2024. The dental health service in Akershus will consist of 3 areas, Buskerud and Østfold will not be divided into areas. In addition there will be the dental health service ́s competence centre (TkØ). In total there will be approx. 56 dental clinics divided between different sizes and capacity from 1-3 treatment rooms (small clinic), 4-7 treatment rooms (medium clinic) and 8-20 treatment rooms (large clinic). Several sixth form colleges require service on dental technical equipment etc. Currently there are three schools, one in each new county:Afeekoff sixth form college, Åssiden sixth form college and Sandvika sixth form college. The scope of the equipment that requires service will be reduced over time as the existing framework agreement for the procurement of dental equipment includes a service agreement for equipment ordered on the mentioned framework agreement.
