Description
2 high volume blood and fluid heaters shall be procured for Helse Førde and Helse Fonna. There will also be an option for 3 identical blood warmers for Helse Førde and Helse Fonna. Training of users, super users and medical technical personnel shall be included in the tender (option). The blood and fluid heaters shall be used at the anaesthesia department at Førde Central Hospital and Haugesund Hospital. The device must be able to heat high visibility fluids from 4 to 37 degrees with a flow of minimum 500 ml/minute and the device must have air protection in the system for handling air embolism. The device must be able to automatically remove air from the system itself, without assistance from hospital medical staff. The equipment shall be used during major bleeding. In the event of a blood transfusion in a larger amount in a short time, the department will need an dethat manages to warm up blood quickly. The contract will be signed without a prior tender notice, as it is as far as we are aware that there are no other suppliers/manufacturers on the market who can offer the same or equivalent product.
