Description
The ID7000 spectral flow cytometer allows for a detailed high-dimentional analysis of single cells from a homogenous suspension. This can be from cell cultures or clinical and pre-clinical tissue samples. Based on simultaneous immunophenotyping of surface and intracellularly expressed proteins this will enable us to characterize the cell types, subpopulation-distribution and cell purity in our samples, which will be important in the work with EVs in diagnostics, vaccines and cancer research. Our current options with regular filter-gated flow cytometers only enable us to use 13 detectors, which gives issues covering the full complexity of the samples based on state-of-the-art knowledge. The ID7000 six-laser system will allow us to use 182 detectors, thereby greatly enhancing our current options. The total of 182 detectors will enable us to do an in-depth analysis of the cell populations in our tissue samples. Further, more available lasers and detectors will give us a much greater flexibility in selecting fluorochromes for the panels.
