Description
Het ‘Erasmus MC SkillsLab & Simulation Center’ zet intensief in op het fysiek simuleren van klinische vaardigheden (simulatieonderwijs). Het is de plaats waar (inter)nationale zorgprofessionals onder leiding van experts uit de beroepspraktijk vaardigheden aanleren. Simulatieonderwijs is het trainen van vaardigheden en gedrag in een patiëntvrije omgeving waar veilig geleerd kan worden en fouten gemaakt kunnen worden zonder dat de patiënt hier schade van ondervindt. In het simulatieonderwijs worden fantomen en simulatoren ingezet. Momenteel beschikt Erasmus MC over meerdere simulatoren. Er is echter één hoog waarheidsgetrouwe simulator die aan vervanging toe is. De huidige simulator heeft op dit moment een vaste positie binnen het Erasmus MC SkillsLab & SimulationCenter. 1
