Description

The Directorate of Fisheries would like to hire fishing vessels that are rigged and suitable for effective and appropriate execution of expeditions, including catch and catch measurements. The vessel that is hired will be administered and managed by the Directorate of Fisheries ́s naval service. The vessel must be representative of the vessel group as regards operational patterns, equipment, catch efficiency and production capacity, and it must be able to operate under the same conditions as equivalent vessels. The vessel ́s assignments will be the execution of catch operations in the areas that the Directorate of Fisheries ́s representatives want on board. Prioritised assignments will i.a. be control of areas with high fish pressure, mixing fish under minimum measurements and sample taking on the call for cooperating departments such as the Norwegian Institute of Marine Research.
