Description
Naar aanleiding van het klimaatakkoord van Parijs heeft SNBV een visie ontwikkeld om in 2030 uitstootvrij te zijn met haar eigen luchthavenactiviteiten. Om deze ambities te kunnen realiseren wordt het gebruik van aardgas en fossiele brandstoffen uit gefaseerd en wordt er zoveel mogelijk overgegaan op elektrisch aangedreven vervoer en materieel. De vraag naar elektriciteit op Schiphol zal daardoor toenemen. Om ervoor te zorgen dat het elektrici-teitsnetwerk toekomstbestendig is en aan de vraag van alle aangeslotenen kan voldoen heeft Schiphol het Masterplan Power Grid (MPG) 2060 opgesteld.
