Description
Helse Møre og Romsdal HF (HMR), Department of Medical Biochemistry and Blood Bank, currently has haematology instrumentation delivered by Sysmex Norway at all its laboratories. These are used for analysing haematological parameters in blood and other bodily fluids. HMR is building a new laboratory at Nordmøre Hospital and Romsdal (SNR), plans to renew the laboratory at Ålesund Hospital and the necessary equipment upgrading of the laboratory at Volda Hospital. A direct procurement of new Sysmex haematology instrumentation is necessary in order to reuse newer Sysmex instrumentation at the laboratories. Compatibility between newly acquired haematology instrumentation and the existing Sysmex middleware, Sysmex servers and Sysmex instrumentation for digital morphology (SP-50, CF-70, DI-60, RAL SmearBox, RAL Stainer, CellaVision DC-1 and Sysmex Remote Review Software) in HMR are crucial.
