Description

The objective of this activity is to ensure the continuation of the current Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 Mission Planning (MP) operations and maintenance until 2029. The new Copernicus Mission Planning Service will cover the following activities: - Sentinel-1 Mission Planning Function maintenance - Sentinel-2 Mission Planning Function maintenance - Station Resources Allocation (SRA) maintenance and operations - Routine Mission Planning operations (including Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellites observation and downlink planning, planning of operational acquisition resources including X-Band services, planning of Sentinel-1 Collaborative Stations, operations of interfaces with Flight Operations Segment (FOS)) - Emergency planning operations in support to the Copernicus Emergency Service and to the International Charter Space and Major Disasters - Set-up, maintenance and operations of an interface point (MPIP) providing access to the MP-related information to authorized entities (e.g., S-3/S-5P/CO2M MP services, FOS, acquisition services, etc.).
