Description

Grieghallen Utbygging AS (the contracting authority) was established in 2021 to realise the project "Grieg Block" - a new music theatre in Bergen. The contracting authority shall, through the project "Grieg Block", establish a new music theatre at Edvard Grieg's place. The contracting authority therefore needs to prepare a multi-disciplinary solution proposal, prepared by a team of both architects and consultants. The solution proposal that is prepared in the planning and design competition will form the basis of the project in the further work. Furthermore, the contracting authority needs to enter into a subsequent contract for architect and consulting services in the project. The service contract for architect and consultancy services will be entered into in accordance with NS 8401:2010 'General contract terms for engineering design assignments'. The competition shall be held as a design contest with a subsequent competition with negotiations without a prior notice, cf. the Public Procurement Regulations, parts I and V.
