Description
IVM wishes to gain insight into possible activities that can bring about the greening of the Site through sensible use of the residual heat / steam. The greening envisaged in the context of this Market Exploration may consist of building a facility on the IVM site and/or developing an activity – using the available energy/heat from the waste-to-energy plant – that is endothermic and represents a high degree of sustainability in the context of IVM’s activities by (indicative, non-exhaustive list): o the processing and/or reuse of the various material flows that IVM collects at recycling parks (and for which there is no provision for extended producer responsibility) o the use and recovery of green electricity and/or heat on the IVM site (e.g. green H2 production) o projects and/or facilities in the context of the circular economy with regard to IVM’s activities
