Deze aanbesteding dient ertoe te leiden dat met drie partijen een raamovereenkomst wordt gesloten op basis waarvan een strategisch partnerschap wordt gecreëerd waaronder de scope van GU-W S&I gerealiseerd kan worden. Gasunie is op zoek naar multidisciplinaire (Werktuigbouw, hierna WtB, Elektro & Instrumentatie, hierna E&I, Bouw & Civiel, hierna B&C en klimaatinstallatie (hierna HVAC) partners met landelijke dekking om de werkzaamheden uit te kunnen voeren.
