Description
Ilmatieteen laitos on valittu tuottamaan Euroopan unionin laitosten yhteenliittymä EUMETNETin Federated Meteohydrological Data Infrastructure (FEMDI)-ohjelmaa vuosiksi 2026-2028. FEMDI-ohjelma tarjoaa yhteisen Meteogate-rajapintapalvelun, jonka kautta kaikki EUMETNETin jäsenorganisaatiot voivat jakaa data-aineistoja niin julkisille kuin yksityisille toimijoille koko Euroopan alueella. Hankkeen onnistuminen on koko Euroopan meteorologisille laitoksille tärkeä tavoite, sillä samalla täytetään EU:n High Value Datasets (HVD) -direktiivin vaatimukset. FEMDI-ohjelman toteuttamisen puitteissa Ilmatieteen laitos hankkii kehittämishankkeen tuottamiseen alihankintana konsultointipalvelua.
