Die BASt betreibt ein Demonstrations-, Untersuchungs- und Referenzareal, duraBASt. Für den Zulassungsprozess des Zustandserfassungsbetriebs wurden auf der duraBASt verschiedene Prüfflächen konstruiert. Um deren Nutzbarkeit zu verbessern und zu erweitern, werden verschiedene Fahrbahnmarkierungen benötigt.
