Description
TenneT faces a major task in the coming years. In addition to a substantial number of upgrades to existing high-voltage overhead lines (around 600 km between 2026-2035), a substantial number of new high-voltage overhead lines is planned to be build (around 400 km between 2026-2035). This possibly leads to a total demand of 1000 km till 2035, which means a tripling (x3) of the current demand. PLEASE NOTE: This is the current forecast, depending on various factors, the actual number of projects may be higher or lower. With this qualification system, TenneT wishes to establish a list of suitable contractors to carry out line works (in particular line/conductor stringing and tower erection) around new and existing high-voltage lines. The tender procedure takes place exclusively digitally via the Mercell platform.
