Description
The University Hospital of North Norway HF (UNN) intends to enter into a contract with Vitrolife for the procurement of an hourly lapseinkubator for cultivation and monitoring of embryos, which shall ensure optimal culturing conditions for treatment with assisted fertilisation. The incubator shall have integrated, user friendly and automated software/artificial intelligence that shall help identify the best embryos, based on the following parameters: • Morphinetics (time specific morphological changes) during embryo development • Morphology of fertilised oocyte and embryos • Blastomer division (number, fragmentation and symmetry) • Timing of cell division • Dividing pattern (kinetics) of eggs (oocytes and embryos) and symmetry • Presence of specific cell structures such as pole bodies, pronuclei, number of blastomers, fragmentation etc. • Embryoscoring on days 3 and day 5 • Blastocystekspansjon/-quality o Inner cell mass (degree of gasket/number of cells) o Trofoektoderm (pack degree/number of cells) In addition, we would like artificial intelligence based on a neuronal network for evaluating embryos quality that can be used to select the best embryo for returning to the woman. …
