Description
Havenbedrijf Rotterdam is voornemens één van haar bestaande patrouillevaartuigen (de RPA 8) om te laten bouwen naar een volledig elektrische aandrijving. Scope: - Het vervanging van de aandrijflijn door een volledig elektrische, inclusief de daarvoor noodzakelijke aanpassingen in de periferie (denk bijvoorbeeld aan tegengaan van zwerfstromen en corrosie dientengevolge). - Mogelijk aanpassing/verbetering van de vaareigenschappen op basis van de Marin studie. Hieronder vallen bijvoorbeeld de boegskeg, boegschroeffunctie, en aansturing. De exacte invulling hiervan is afhankelijk van de uitkomsten van het vervolgonderzoek dat nu door Marin wordt uitgevoerd.
