Description

The project comprises the construction of two new bridges in the centre of Storslett, as well as upgrading the road between the bridges and on each side. The existing bridges over the Reisa River, Nordreisa I and II were built in 1955 and do not fulfil the current requirements and shall be replaced with new. In addition Nordreisa II footbridge shall be removed. The existing truss bridge Nordreisa I shall be replaced with a network arch bridge with a span of 87 metres. The existing slab bridge on the steel carriers Nordreisa II shall be replaced with a freely obvious, reinforced concrete slab bridge with a span of 26 metres. Both bridges shall be founded on piles. The road is to be built with a width of 7.5 m including the shoulder, as well as the width of the foot/cycle path of 4 m wide including the shoulder. It is set up to a speed limit of 50 km/h. Road lighting shall be established along the entire stretch. The network arch bridge shall, in addition, be equipped with effect lighting.
