Im Auftrag der Bundeswehr sind ab dem 01.01.2024 Eisenbahndienstleistungen, mit Schwerpunkt Güterverkehrsdienstleistungen, innerhalb Deutschlands sowie von Deutschland ins Ausland, vom Ausland nach Deutschland und von Verladestellen im Ausland zu Entladestellen im Ausland durchzuführen. Dies beinhaltet neben eigenen Bedarfen auch Schienenverkehrsdienstleistungen im Rahmen von Projekten der NATO-Staaten, der Vereinten Nationen, der Europäischen Union und der PfP-Staaten.
