Przedmiotem zamówienia są sukcesywne dostawy drewna opałowego – zrębków opałowych z drewna liściastego i iglastego (biomasy) w ilości 12 000 metrów przestrzennych (mp) w ramach zamówienia podstawowego, z możliwością rozszerzenia dostaw maksymalnie o 2 400 mp w ramach prawa opcji, przeznaczonych do spalania w kotłach na biomasę typu VFR 4000 oraz VFR 1600 POLYTECHNIK, wraz z transportem i rozładunkiem na teren placu składowego przy Kotłowni Szpitalnej Zamawiającego.
