The NLD EOD is looking to replace their current disruptor fleet. A disruptor is a device that enables EOD units do neutralize improvised explosive devices (IEDs). A disruptor consist of a metal tube filled with a quantity of water. By activating a gas-pressure cartridge, the water is propelled at high speed toward and IED or object.
