Description
Procurement of design services and execution of works within the project “Rehabilitation of the Roman – Iași – Frontier Railway Line – Stage I – Electrification of the Iași – Border (RO) – Ungheni (MD) Railway Line”, under a Design & Build / Turnkey arrangement. The contract includes design and execution of works on the territory of the Republic of Moldova, including modernization of the Eiffel railway bridge over the Prut River, reconstruction of the railway infrastructure and 1435 mm gauge tracks at Ungheni station, electrification of the railway line at 25 kV, 50 Hz, including the traction power supply system and overhead contact line, as well as works related to signalling, interlocking, telecommunications and protection/relocation of affected utility networks.
