Description
Intention notice - planned contract with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB Bergen Health Trust intends to enter into contract with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB for the delivery of contrast injector with the accompanying equipment dependent consumables for the Heart Department at Haukeland University Hospital. The procurement includes: Procurement of 4 contrast injectors that are currently leased The procurement of 1 new contrast injector Background In 2023, a leasing agreement was signed with Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB, as it was no longer possible to get sufficient consumables for the existing injectors in operation. The tenderer could not secure further deliveries, which posed a significant risk to operations and patient safety. The leasing contract was signed after an intention notice. Justification for procurement without competition After an overall assessment, it is concluded that Bracco Imaging Scandinavia AB is the only supplier who can offer both the equipment and the necessary consumables in accordance with the hospital ́s requirements.
