Description

Helsetjenestens driftsorganisasjon for nødnett HF (HDO) is responsible for the operation and management of Chelton emergency network equipment (helicopter radios) in the air ambulance service. HDO currently has a contract with Scandinavian Avionics Norway Division (SA) as the supplier of the Supply of Service Level Agreement (SLA) and hardware. The contract was signed 1 November 2017, with an original contract period of four years. The agreement ́s SLA part had the possibility of one year extensions for up to 6 years (the maximum total duration was 4+1+1+1+1=10 years). Due to changes in pricing driven by the obsoletion of parts, there is a need to enter into a new contract with renegotiated prices. HDO intends to enter into a new contract for the Supply of Service Level Agreement (SLA) on Chelton helicopter radios directly with SA in order to ensure continued access to service and maintenance of emergency network critical communication equipment.
