Description
The Nursing Home Agency in Oslo municipality shall procure service provision contracts for Abildsøhjemmet and Bjølsenhjemmet respectively. One contract shall be signed for each of the long term homes. The same tenderer can be awarded both sub-contracts. The background for the procurement is a desire for a larger part of private actors in the health and welfare services. This is so that we can contribute to a more and more versatile offer for the inhabitants of Oslo and to develop the quality of the service. In order to meet the future needs, the nursing home sector must think of new ways to organise the service. One of the objectives and expectations of the procurement is that it shall contribute to innovation and new ways of working, which, among other things, shall lead to increased quality of the service and more use of full-time. Assignment sharing, new working hours schemes and the use of technology are areas of innovation that will be emphasised in the competition.
