Description
De parameter “Chemische contaminanten in vogeleieren” is één van de onderdelen van het monitoringsprogramma van TMAP. Sinds 1998 wordt er ieder voorjaar op zestien verschillende locaties in de gehele Waddenzee eieren van Visdief en Scholekster verzameld en geanalyseerd op chemische verontreiniging (in het bijzonder op zware metalen en organochloor-verbindingen). Vijf van deze locaties liggen in het Nederlandse deel van de Waddenzee. In de afgelopen jaren heeft het Duitse Institut für Chemie und Biologie des Meeres (ICBM) alle analyses uitgevoerd en ook om een trendbreuk te voorkomen is het de bedoeling om de analyses van Nederlandse vogeleieren ook de komende jaren door dit instituut te laten uitvoeren. 1
