Description
Gol, Hemsedal and Ål municipalities would like to map the area with a view to carbon absorption and storage and will enter into agreement with NIBIO. NIBIO has national responsibility, professionals and researchers to develop and improve methods and models for calculating emissions and absorption of climate gases from forests and other land use. NIBIO has carried out similar assignments for 15 municipalities. Other actors have no more data basis than NIBIO
