Description
We, the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invite you as a Potential Candidate to apply for Nile Delta Sand Survey. This tendering process is a closed procedure consisting of two phases: 1. Selection Phase, and 2. Tender Phase. If you are selected as a result of this Selection Phase, we will invite you and a maximum of three other selected economic operators to submit an application in the Tender Phase. RIS (Rijksinkoopsamenwerking) will supervise this Tendering Process. Purpose of the Tendering Process: to conclude an Agreement with one service provider. Nature and purpose of the Contract: The purpose of this Contract is to inform the Egyptian Government about the resources of mineable sand of suitable quality in the Nile delta offshore zone (between 15-60m -MSL), in order to make a well-informed decision on the feasibility of a climate adaptation strategy for the Nile delta coast that is based on sand-nourishments. The intention is for the Agreement to enter into force on Q3 2024. See for further information: the Selectiondocument of this tender.
