Udbuddet omfatter afhentning, eventuel harpning, læsning, bortkørsel samt deponering eller genbrug af ca. 3.000 tons materialer (vejsand) fra maskinfejning, samt sand fra tømning af rendestensbrønde på offentlige vejarealer og pladser i Aarhus Kommune. Materialerne aflæsses løbende i depot af fejebiler og slamsugere og disse materialer betegnes i dette udbud som ”vejsand”, selvom der også indgår andre fraktioner såsom sand, blade, grene, jord, grus, skrald mm.
