Das Leibniz-Institut für Analytische Wissenschaften -ISAS- e.V. plant die Beschaffung einer bildgebenden Ionenquelle mit einer Auflösung von 2 µm in Ablationsgröße zur Verbesserung der Auflösungsmöglichkeiten von zellulären metabolischen Prozessen. Darüber hinaus soll das zu beschaffende System noch eine Autofokussierungsvorrichtung besitzen, welche die Auflösungen in einem weiteren Schritt verbessern soll.
